Welcome to the website to elect Mike Kelly to the Oklahoma State Senate, District 42.
Senate District 42 is a diverse district, containing most of Midwest City, Choctaw, and Nicoma Park. It is also home to one of Oklahoma's largest employers, Tinker Air Force Base. Mike Kelly is proud to call this wonderful district his home.
Mike Kelly is a proud father, grandfather, and veteran of the U.S. Army. After serving his country Mike began nearly twenty years of service at Tinker Air Force Base. Mike retired from Tinker AFB and then was elected by his Tinker co-workers to serve as the National Vice President of the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE). During his career with AFGE, Mike has been on the frontlines protecting the rights of workers and veterans.
Mike believes in our second amendment right to bear arms, our responsibility to care for our veterans, to create access to affordable healthcare for all Oklahomans, and to protect our workers' rights. As a sportsman, Mike has firsthand knowledge of the natural beauty of Oklahoma and believes we should do everything we can to protect the environment.
Please join our campaign and spread the word. We plan on returning the Oklahoma State Senate to the people, not the special interests. This will only happen through grassroots activity, and that's where you come in! Together we can make a difference in 2010!
